My life purpose is to discover, preserve and creatively express the beauty of the world around me. I value creativity, both divine and human. I love God’s natural creation and its expression through art, music, and literature. I value harmony, both musical and in relationships. Love, honesty, integrity, generosity, security, commitment, cooperation, family, and church fit into a harmonious life. And I value education, the quest for a lifetime of learning. New ideas lead to growth in mind, body, and spirit. They give life a perpetual sense of exploration and adventure.
After twenty-five years as a teacher and piano technician, I returned to writing a few years ago. The Bridge serves a link between my writing projects and the rest of the world.
Thanks for stopping by.
Ann,
I thoroughly enjoyed all three of your posts. My favorite, I think, is the writing one. It was especially eloquent and lyrical–more shades of Annie D! Thanks, and keep blogging.
I just finished reading In the Shadow of the Wind; thanks for sharing your life, heart and soul with readers. I enjoyed meeting you in Winfield and appreciate your encouragement to play my hammered dulcimer; I’ve moved it up on my priority list but it’s still below my grandchildren!
Thank you, Janice. I appreciate your comments. And love those grandchildren! The dulcimer will always be waiting. We should get together and hammer a few tunes sometime.
